VIETNAM: Exported 470,000 tons of cement and clinker



According to the Ministry of Construction, by the end of October, the cement manufacturing units of the Corporation of Vietnam's cement industry (VICEM) has exported 470,000 tons of cement and clinker.



Market for export of cement units mainly Cambodia, Laos, South Africa and Bangladesh.

Expected, in the two months remaining, based on the completed contract negotiations with partners, VICEM can export an additional 200,000 to 250,000 tons of cement and clinker again, raising the export of cement during the year reached about 700,000 tons.

However, if compared with the export target of 1 million tons of cement, clinker, which set in early VICEM although the exports reached 700,000 tons of cement, clinker is to achieve 70% of the plan. In 2010, enterprises of VICEM target production and consumption of 19 million tons of cement, of which exports 1 million tons, turnover of 22,500 billion and profit of at least 1430 billion, earnings increased from 5 to 10% compared to 2009.
