AFRICA: KENIA: Kenyan Cement makers may raise prices on coal costs



Kenyan cement manufacturers may increase prices as they brace themselves for reduced margins amid higher costs for coal,citing Shah Miti, the managing director of Mombasa Cement.

Coal prices have risen to a two-year high of $107 per etric ton, from $89 per ton in August, on growing demand from ountries including China, the Nairobi-based newspaper said.
