SAUDI ARABIA: Cement event set to draw 250 experts

A total of 250 cement industry professionals from over 30 countries are set to take part in a major conference and exhibition in Dubai next month.

Organised by London’s Cemtech Conference and Exhibitions, the seventh edition of Cemtech Middle East & Africa Conference, will take place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai from February 12 to 15.

An impressive list of speakers will discuss multiple markets in the Middle East and Africa by offering invaluable insights into current trends and forecasts, reviewing company strategies and trade developments as well as identifying the next frontier of opportunities.

Presentations will also explore key operational issues in the areas of technology advances, efficiency, optimisation, and sustainable operations.

The extended conference programme will also allow participants to attend technical workshops to gain in-depth knowledge relating to specific aspects of cement plant operation, enabling them to increase operational efficiency in their own works.

Alternatively, they will have the opportunity to experience Middle Eastern cement production first-hand via a visit to the new 7,500 tpd kiln line, supplied by Polysius, at Fujairah Cement Industries.

Cement producers will be able to consult world-renowned equipment suppliers on a one-to-one basis during the international exhibition, with state-of-the art cement technology and solutions on display from around 30 exhibitors.
