ACC rose 0.18% to Rs. 1110.20 at 12:05 IST on BSE after cement dispatches rose 14.52% to 2.05 million units in April 2011 over April 2010.
The company announced April month cement dispatches figures during market hours today.
On BSE, 15,236 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 69,041 shares over the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs. 1114.05 and a low of Rs. 1101.40 so far during the day.
The large-cap cement maker has an equity capital of Rs. 187.74 crore. Face value per share is Rs. 10.
The company's cement production rose 13.88% to 2.05 million tonnes in April 2011 over April 2010.
ACC's net profit fell 13.4% to Rs. 350.66 crore on 14.1% to 2398.16 crore in Q1 March 2011 over Q1 March 2010. The announced Q1 result on 26 April 2011.
